New Years Eve Keeps Crews Busy

On New Years Eve at approx. 2115 hrs, Rescue 32 was dispatched to relocate to Station 82 (Chews Landing) while they operated on an "All Hands" fire in their local. While responding w/ 7, Rescue 32 was sent to an MVA in the Gloucester Twp. After clearing the MVA and arriving at Station 82, Rescue 32 along with the Deptford FD were dispatched to the NJTP S/B in the area of Exit 3 for a MVA - Rescue. Squad 32 w/ 3 and Battalion 303 (Griffith) responded on the rescue box from quarters. Battalion 9201 (Thomas) arrived to report a multi-vehicle MVA w/ numerous injuries and 1 occupant trapped. After stabilization, crews completed a side wall and roof removal to free the trapped occupant. After clearing the NJTP, Rescue 32 was sent back to Station 82 while Squad 32 returned to quarters to relieve Squad 45 (Mt. Ephraim) & Quint 91 (Barrington). Shortly after returning to Station 82, Rescue 32 was special called into the fire to provide relief and conduct overhaul. Crew operated on the fireground for approx. 1 hour on the fireground before returning to quarters at 0030 hrs.
